Go on the only RIB sea safari operating out of Dover
See the beautiful White Cliffs and coastline
Spot migrating waders and wildfowl
Sail past a secret seal colony
Set off on a nature-spotting trip for two, sailing past the White Cliffs of Dover in a RIB. Begin with a safety briefing, then get kitted out in lifejackets and head off under the iconic cliffs and impressive coastline. Go north after Walmer, pass Deal and get a good look at the award winning Deal Pier. Onward to Sandwich Bay, entering the mouth of the River Stour through Pegwell Bay, a nature reserve ideal for spotting migrating waders and wildfowl. Then, the engines turn off to sail silently past a secret seal colony. Experience these beautiful creatures' natural inquisitiveness as they pop up around the boat to get a good look and bask on the river bank. On the way back, hold on tight as the skipper speeds up and blasts all the way home.
Runs at least twice a week between April and October.
Minimum age 16. Unsuitable for pregnant women or anyone with a history of back or neck problems. There are steps onto the boat, but disabilities are catered for where possible (confirm needs with the venue prior to booking).
This experience is cancelled in extreme weather conditions, please call the venue before setting off if in doubt.
Lasts around two hours with an hour and a half on the water. Please arrive 20 minutes early for the briefing and to get kitted out.
