30 Minute Tiger Moth Flight in Surrey

Upon arrival, receive a short pre-flight briefing, before climbing into the cockpit of a lovingly restored De Havilland Tiger Moth - the archetypal English biplane. • Availability Description

  Selected dates throughout the main flying season from April to October. We recommend booking several weeks in advance.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum age is 12. Maximum weight 18 stone. Minimum height 4'11''. If you fit into a standard car seat you should be comfortable in the cockpit. Unsuitable for pregnant women or anyone unable to climb into the open cockpit.

• Weather

  Flying is weather dependent and it is crucial that you call the weather line (after 8.30am please) on the day of your flight. The Tiger Moth is an vintage open-cockpit plane and certain weather conditions may result in your flight being rescheduled.

• Duration Detail

  This flight will last for around 30 minutes from chocks-off to chocks-on. Please arrive a few minutes before the scheduled flight time to be kitted out and briefed. Allow for at least one hour on-site.

• Numbers On The Day

  The briefing may be shared, but only you and a qualified pilot will be in the aircraft during the flight.

• Dress Code

  Wrap up warm for your open-cockpit flight. Wear soft-soled shoes. Bring sunglasses and tie back long hair. Flying kit (jacket, headset and helmet) will be provided.
