The Bear Grylls Adventure Shark Dive for One

Explore an underwater paradise with an unforgettable diving experience for one at The Bear Grylls Adventure tropical tank in Birmingham. Start off with a briefing session from an expert instructor before mastering the skills and equipment in the training pool. Once warmed up, venture into the tropical tank to walk the underwater route for up to 25 minutes. Get up close and personal with over 800 aquatic creatures, from Black Tip Reef Sharks to Cow Nose Rays and Nurse Sharks, plus a rainbow of tropical fish. Upon completion of the dive, receive an electronic card of recognition and take the chance to buy a video of the dive to remember the experience by. Plus, each dive generates a donation to The Shark Trust! For an extra challenge, take on the Royal Marines-inspired Assault Course, enjoying unlimited access on the day of the visit.

• Availability Description

  This voucher is valid for one person. Available for off-peak sessions, year round. All dates are subject to availability.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum age: 10 years. Guests aged 10–17 years must have an adult present at check-in to sign waivers, but can enjoy the adventure unaccompanied.

• Duration Detail

  This activity lasts for two hours. Please arrive 30 minutes before the activity start time.

• Dress Code

  It is recommended that participants wear comfortable active wear. Wetsuits are provided but participants must bring their own swimwear and a towel. If visibility is impaired without glasses, please bring a prescription mask. Please refrain from wearing makeup or remove any makeup before entering the tank.

• Other Info

  All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. All participants must complete a waiver upon check in, plus a Dive medical form. If anything on the medical form applies, the guest must seek a doctor’s note confirming they are fit and able to take part and have the note with them on the day. Please contact the supplier prior to booking to discuss any additional needs. This experience is not suitable for pregnant people. Free on-site lockers are available to store valuables and loose items. Guests can spectate from the oceanarium window. Participants will need to register via an app on the day and will receive an electronic card of recognition for their Discover Scuba Diving course.
