Take this classic speedster for a spin at one of eight UK venues in Oxfordshire, Lincolnshire, Gloucestershire, Yorkshire, Wiltshire, Suffolk and Cornwall. This beloved legend, also known as the Shelby Cobra, features a powerful Ford V8 engine and has graced the silver screen myriad times. Learn how to get the most out of her with a welcome safety briefing, then slide into the driver's seat and put her through her paces for six adrenaline-fuelled miles of the circuit. A seasoned instructor is on hand to dispense tips and encouragement throughout.

Key Info
  • Availability Description
    At least one date every two months (could be any day of the week) at each venue. Please note a £10 upgrade fee for weekend dates at Blyton Park and £25 upgrade fee for Castle Combe applies (payable on booking). Dates are subject to availability.
  • Participant Guidelines
    Minimum age: 17 years. Minimum height: 4'10''; maximum height: 6'6''. Maximum weight: 18 stone. A full manual driving licence must be shown on the day in order to participate.
  • Weather
    Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt.
  • Duration
    Expect to be on-site for around one hour including a briefing and six miles driving the AC Cobra. Please arrive around 15 minutes prior to the booked start time to ensure a prompt start.
  • Numbers on the Day
    Briefings are held in groups of up to 30 people. All in-car tuition is held on a one-to-one basis with a qualified instructor. There might be other vehicles on the track at the same time.
  • Dress Code
    Dress warmly and comfortably in trousers, a long-sleeved top and flat-soled shoes. A helmet is provided.

Not quite as expected
I was due to drive the Cobra but it had to be jumped started and then had to be withdrawn due to a leaking radiator. I was offered a drive in the Eleanor car from the film instead which I accepted. It was not the car I wanted to drive but was a very good substitute.

Always Wondered
Great gift from Son for my birthday, I had always wondered what driving a Cobra would belike and now I know. the whole experience was professionally managed but in a way that left the fun there. The people were great, helpful and amiable. My only suggestion would be signs nearer the car park to say where to go first.
