Occupying 37 acres of beautiful landscape in Colwyn Bay, the Welsh Mountain Zoo is home to a wide variety of animals. Treat a cheeky monkey to a unique primate encounter. - Availability Description
Valid for two people. Available week round, year round excluding bank holiday weekends and during the Easter holidays. Bookings can be made via email only. All dates are subject to availability.
- Participant Guidelines
Minimum age: 7 years. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult over 18. Pregnant women cannot take part in an animal experience without first seeking advice from their doctor and proof will be required. Not suitable for those allergic to dust, animal fur or bedding. All participants must be up to date with their tetanus vaccinations. A reasonable level of fitness is required to take part in all experiences.
The experience itself lasts for around 20–30 minutes in total. Feel free to explore the zoo at leisure during opening times.
- Dress Code
Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for all weathers and for working with the animals, including trousers and closed toe shoes such as trainers, walking boots or wellingtons. The zoo reserves the right to refuse those who does not wear suitable clothing without offering a refund.
- Other Info
Participants will be asked to leave if they behave inappropriately or in an unsafe manner that could put themselves, staff and others or animals at risk. There will be a protective safety barrier between the participant and the animals.
