Extreme Sailing Race Experience for Two

For extreme sailing with a competitive edge, this keelboat racing experience in Brighton is a must. Split into two teams and go head- to-head on an Olympic-style in an attempt to guide your Delphia 24 to the finish line. Kick things off with a briefing before learning all the sailing basics under the guidance of a seasoned instructor. Once everyone is ready, there's a tense five minute countdown and then it's all hands on deck - work with the rest of the crew to hoist the sails and take the helm in an exhilarating close quarters fight to the finish line. To make sure everyone gets the most from their sailing experience, several fun-fuelled races are held throughout the session - do you have what it takes to win?

• Availability Description

  Selected Saturdays and Sundays from April - October. We recommend booking early for this popular experience.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum age is 16 accompanied by another voucher holding adult and 18 unaccompanied. No weight limit applies. Agility to get on and off the boat necessary but no previous sailing needed, and non-swimmers are welcome.

• Weather

  Sailing is a weather dependent activity and therefore it's vital to call the venue the day before your booking, to confirm conditions and go ahead. If postponed, an alternative date will be arranged.

• Duration Detail

  Lasts around three hours. The actual race normally lasts around 20 minutes, depending on conditions. Please arrive in good time (ideally few minutes in advance).

• Numbers On The Day

  Two boats race, with a maximum of five people plus an instructor aboard each boat.

• Dress Code

  Wear flat, soft and light-soled, non-marking shoes (deck shoes or trainers) or you won't be permitted aboard. Wear layers, it can get cold, bring extra clothes and sun protection. Life-jackets and sailing gear is provided.

• Other Info

  All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. Where possible you will both race on the same boat together but please be aware that as two boats are used for the experience, this cannot be guaranteed.
