About the experience

Learn and discover what skills are essential to survive, from highly trained extreme survival ex-military during this half day experience in Cornwall. The instructors include a helicopter pilot, an RAF navigator, a parachute jumping instructor and an infantry soldier, who all have real experience of survival in extremely hostile environments. Learn basic survival psychology, safety and how to be self-sufficient in a woodland environment. Discover techniques for scavenging and hunting for materials, shelter-building, fire lighting without matches, foraging skills and how to signal for rescue amongst many other things! Go back to basics and leave feeling ready for anything!

    At least five days per month, throughout the year.

  • Participant Guidelines

    Minimum age is 8. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. Owing to the rough terrain, there is no disabled access.

  • Duration Detail

    From 9am until 1pm.

  • Numbers On The Day

    Maximum of 12 people per group.

  • Dress Code

    Activities are conducted outdoors. We recommend wearing old or inexpensive clothes, wellies, old trainers and waterproofs. Sensible footwear is necessary as the ground is sometimes uneven. In hot weather, sun cream, sunglasses and sun hats are advisable.

    All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. Both venues are country parks with on site parking and public transport links. On site facilities include public toilet facilities and refreshments.
