120 Minute Flight Simulator Experience in Lancashire

Many have wondered what it feels like to take the reins of a mighty jumbo jet, but few discover what it really feels like! This convincing, high-tech experience allows aspiring pilots to control a Boeing 737 using the latest simulation software for a full two-hour flight, with a real commercial pilot next to them to offer one-on-one guidance. Beginning with a welcome, briefing on the genuine flight controls and refreshments, the next step is to select a take-off and landing airport from a range of international destinations, before choosing the weather conditions and time of day to fly in. Then it's time to get comfy in the convincing cockpit, which boasts a 180 degree wraparounds screen and outstanding graphics, before taking to the air!

• Availability Description

  Seven days a week throughout the year (opening hours are 10am - 6pm), excluding bank holidays.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum age is 12 (children under the age of 16 must be accompanied in the simulator by a non-participating adult).

• Duration Detail

  Lasts around two hours and 15 minutes, including two hours in the simulator.

• Numbers On The Day

  The experience is held on a one-to-one basis with a qualified instructor.

• Dress Code

  Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes (no heels or sandals).
