About the experience
This fun-filled experience in rural Bedfordshire provides the perfect introduction to the wonderful world of horse riding. During the session, receive a full briefing as well as learning how to correctly groom a horse in preparation for a ride. Once your horse is prepared, enjoy a 30 minute lesson then saddle up and head out on a leisurely ride over the sensationally scenic Chiltern Hills with a seasoned instructor walking alongside to take control of the lead rein. For anyone who is thinking about taking up horse riding as a hobby, this experience is a great way to get acquainted with the activity while soaking up some beautiful countryside views.

This voucher is valid for one person. Available twice a month as per the days listed on the supplier website, usually on a Monday at 10.30am. All dates are subject to availability.
- Participant Guidelines
This activity is for beginners only, minimum age is 16 and maximum weight is 20 stone (the venue reserve the right to weigh on the day). The mount is chosen to match any riders age, weight and riding experience.
- Weather
Riding may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather (e.g. heavy rain or snow) for the safety of both the participants and horses. If you have any concerns about the weather, please call the venue before leaving home.
- Duration Detail
Lasts around 90 minutes or more, including around 30 minutes of grooming, a 30-minute riding lesson and a 45-minute ride on the bridleway.
- Numbers On The Day
Share with up to seven other budding horse riding enthusiasts.
- Dress Code
Wear comfortable clothes (e.g. leggings, jodhpurs or track suit bottoms) which are suitable for the weather (no strap tops please) with wellingtons or flat soled boots. Jeans, trainers and lace-up shoes are not recommended. A riding hat is provided.
