Black Friday Afternoon Tea

Great surroundings, great food (lovely scones, with jam and cream) engaging staff and very dog friendly. Part of Red Letter gift from work colleagues after retirement.

Excellent guide and afternoon tea. He explained a lot about the canal, the birds, the buildings, the boats. Really interesting.

Everything possible they seem to have there, including incredible food! Lovely cake especially, good train rides and everything very informative. There is so much to see you will not get bored.

Lovely setting, great afternoon tea experience

We booked Afternoon Tea for 6 at The Georgian Restaurant in Harrods. The staff were so welcoming, showed us to our table which was a lovely corner booth. We all ordered different teas , the sandwiches were beautifully presented along with lovely pastries,scones 4 different flavours of jams, 2 sets of sandwiches were provided along with further teas. The pianist played which added to the ambience in a beautiful setting. It was a fantastic day and we would rate it the best afternoon tea in London .

Wonderful Jasmine afternoon tea at the Taj Kona. Food and drinks were plenty and the lovely birthday cake was a delightful surprise for my husband. Can’t wait to experience some of their other offerings with red letter days experiences which was great value for money.

The staff were so attentive explaining the various teas, and the mouthwatering selection of savoury and sweet treats which both looked incredible and tasted delicious ??. A fantastic experience and one that we will definitely do again

We visited Bridgewater Cruises to celebrate my Grandad’s 91st birthday. Right from the first phone call to book the experience, to visiting and enjoying our afternoon out, the staff were nothing but friendly and welcoming to us all. They even decorated our table with a ‘Happy Birthday’ banner which was a lovely unexpected touch. The food was delicious and nicely presented, and you were checked on regularly for drinks top-ups. While travelling along the canal there was the occasional recording played that told you bits of history about that canal which was interesting too. We throughly enjoyed our afternoon out and will look to book again next year on the new boat they are currently renovating.

We were given this as a gift and were unsure of what to expect. We arrived an hour early, as other things were going on but they were extremely happy to fit us in. The food was great, beautifully presented and very tasty. Something there for everyone's taste. The clotted cream scones were amazing as were all the 'desserts'
