Ate at the city tavern, chester. Was easy to book. Redemption procss was easy when in the pub. We could choose from a limited set menu but there was enough choice. The food was hot and fresh. We found all staff at the pub to be really helpful and friendly.

Afternoon Tea

The afternoon tea was great. Food excellent and serv ice good. If your looking for a venue for afternoon tea, I recommend the Tattershall Castle Pub. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent meal

We had a 3 course meal at The Duchess in Duke Street. We were very impressed with the ambience and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had a delicious 3 course meal, sausage roll and cheese fritters for starter; burger and chicken schnitzel for main and ice cream and panna cotta for desert. The deal also included a drink. The food was delicious and very filling. We would definitely go back to The Duchess.

Sunday Lunch

Pleasantly surprised by the venue. Food was good , unlimited roasties and yorkie puds and gravey . House wine was decent enough and staff friendly . Will be doing it again for sure.
