  • Availability Description

    Seven days a week throughout the year, but please note the centre is normally closed during the Christmas period.

  • Participant Guidelines

    Maximum weight is 16 and a half stone, maximum height is 6'6''. Minimum age is 16 and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Weather

    Gyrocoptering is a weather dependent activity and it is crucial that you call the venue for a weather check before setting out. If your flight is cancelled because of the weather, it will be re-booked for an alternative date or time.

  • Duration Detail

    The flight lasts 40 minutes, but please expect to be at the venue for around an hour.

  • Numbers On The Day

    Your briefing might be shared, but your flight will be held on a one-to-one basis with a qualified instructor.

  • Dress Code

    Gyrocopters have open cockpits, so wrap up warm. We recommend long trousers, closed in shoes, socks and long sleeve jumpers. Bring gloves in winter and sunglasses are recommended all year round.

  • Other Info

    All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. This can count towards a Gyrocopter private pilot's licence which requires a minimum of 40hrs of training, made up of 15hrs dual instruction and 10hrs of solo flight. Please be aware this is quite a high adrenaline experience, not for the fainthearted.
