A truly wonderful hour. Great instruction, encouragement and guidance from Captain Lowen. Had several take off and landings and each one felt great. It's no coincidence that pilots have a passion for what they do. I hope to do it again someday. The booking experience and the arrival process were all smooth and very simple. From start to finish, this was a very pleasurable experience.

I received an hour in the 737 as a Red Letter Day Experience. Due to COVID I was unable to use this for 14 months. As I had a drive 2 hrs I upgraded from one to two hours. Standard practice is a circuit out of Nice which went fine. I then did the same at Southampton which was a challenge due to the short runway. After that we did a circuit at Paphos in Cyprus. All was going well so the next was a more challenging circuit at Glasgow which has terrain and a crosswind of 15 knots. Next stop was London Heathrow with a short trip to Gatwick. Here I completed a full taxi to a stand with a full shut down. I then did a dark and cold start, taxied out and departed back to Heathrow. Time didn’t allow for a landing but we did get a visual over Heathrow. Well worth the money and the 2 hr drive. In my head I assumed that this was a full blown simulator with hydraulic rams which it isn’t. There were plenty of vibrations in the cockpit and I was fully immersed in the flight and felt that I was in the air. If you enjoy any aspect of flying this is well worth a visit. One word of caution though. They are situated at a garden centre which has a cafe. The website looks great, so we arrived in good time for a pre flight lunch - honest opinion don’t bother - if it wasn’t for the flight we wouldn’t have stayed and the garden centre is also not what we are used to at home. Experience wise, I am a keen flight simmer and use MSFS 2020, but if you’ve never flown before and have no idea about flying the staff will guide you through and you’ll have. a good time. Would I visit Fly A Flight again - A big yes, although I would love to get my hands on an Airbus A320 Neo next. All the staff are very nice and welcoming and COVID wise we gelt very safe. My partner was able to sit behind me and she made me some videos.

First ever fight time on a flight simulator and I thoroughly enjoyed my time flying the Boeing 737. The flight instructor was calm and supportive and helped to make the time an excellent and his interactive experience. Had time to fly in an out of four airports of my choice (night & day). Great time and would recommend the experience without hesitation. Good adherence to covid-19 protection to don't let the pandemic put you off booking!
