Step back in time for an unforgettable experience, seeing the incredible training routes used by the 19 AVRO Lancaster Bombers in the iconic Dambuster Raid. Led by Guy Gibson, the 1943 Operation Chastise was aimed at destroying three dams in the Ruhr Valley – the industrial heartland of Germany. During the 30-minute flight, enjoy captivating views out over the Peak District, the Mam Tor rock formation, Chatsworth House and more. Showcasing a key part of WWII, this helicopter tour is the ideal gift for any history enthusiast.

- Participant Guidelines
The minimum age is 16. The maximum total weight is 30 stone/190kg.
- Weather
Flights are weather dependant. If the flight is cancelled due to extreme weather, the experience will be rebooked.

All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. The helicopter will be a Bell 206 Jet Ranger or similar. There may be other participants on the experience.
