Murder Mystery

The welcome and service was good and friendly. Good food. Actors brilliant with interesting twists. Good accommodation with delightful 4 footed ling eared neighbours. A few practical points: Entrance sign on the road hidden behind trees on inside bend - no time to turn left safely. Instructions on use of shower need to be provided, particularly with warning that water can become scalding hot.

A really fun gift for a big birthday from my children. Afternoon tea was lovely. The Murder Mystery was very well done and we had great fun with the guests on our table trying to work out who did it. Alas we were wrong. The Murder 57 Company were excellent. The dinner was fine, although the main could have been warmer. Likewise breakfast was not very hot. The hotel was nice. We stayed for two extra nights before the event. Our room was looking a little on the tired side and the bathroom certainly requires a refurbishment, bath panel cracked, a cracked tile and mould on the grouting. Also a crack in the sink. It took us back to the 1980's, when we bought our first house - colour of bathroom suite ivory. A small wardrobe with five hangers for two people. We had to lay our coats on the table. No double glazing which meant the windows were running in condensation. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Sorry we didn't take any photos. Overall a very good experience. We would do it again. Now we have to book our theatre break in London.

The venue was good friendly staff,food was good ,the atmosphere was of a friendly but competitive. The cast held their own with the buzz of the crowd with the storyline being laid outand the clues giving an insight into a good whodunit. My wife and I enjoyed it thoroughly. RED letter should hold their heads up high

One of the most wonderful days out I've ever had. From the moment I arrived (very flustered due to delays getting there on time), all the way through with the fabulous lunch, the very entertaining murder mystery and the superb staff. I couldn't have loved it more, and my mother agrees (the trip was for her 80th birthday). I have been recommending this to anyone who'll listen. What an absolute joy it was from beginning to end. Special mention to all the Belmond staff - they were utterly fabulous

We were gifted this for Christmas and we're not sure what to expect. The details didn't really explain what was to be expected and we wondered if food was part of the experience because it had asked (on booking) for dietary requirements. We were warmly greeted, however, and all was explained. The resources for this activity were very well thought-out and so much effort has gone into this experience! We had a great time and we are so impressed with the staff, who got right into character, were able to banter and didn't even verbally (or facially) give the game away at the end when we made our guess. We will recommend this experience to lots of people. Well done!!!!!
