Tea for Two
I booked this, as we had had T 4 2 on holiday before covid began, so to be able to go at last was exciting. Venue was lovely and the tea was lovely, plenty of food. The staff were very good. We had a walk by the river afterwards.

Lovely birthday gift
I was given this gift by my family for my 70th birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful, and food was very nice, a good selection of sandwiches and cakes, also scones with clotted cream and jam. Only one criticism, there were 5 teabags in the tea pot, it was so strong you could stand a spoon up in it. We had to take the tea bags out before it got any stronger. The hotel could save them selves a fortune if they only put 2 or 3 in. We must have looked very uncivilised fishing tea bags out and putting them in a plastic bag. But on the whole a lovely day, and would go back.

Afternoon Tea - Priest House - Castle Donnington
A lovely presented afternoon tea, the sandwiches were very fresh and the scones were lovely and warm. Lots of choice of teas and the service was excellent. The venue is situated by the river and is very picturesque. The only reason for 4 stars (would suggest 4.5 stars) instead of 5 was due to the very sweet cakes, I would have preferred more savoury items but the venue allowed us to take what we couldn't eat home. I would recommend and would return.

Lovely tea in a beautiful location
The venue was excellent, the afternoon tea very enjoyable but the cakes were a little too sweet for me, (hence only four stars), the savoury selection could have eaten more. Everything was lovely and fresh. The wheelchair access excellent, the accessable facilities just a little tight and unfortunately the baby changing platform fell down and caught my husband's shoulder, just something to be aware of, just don't touch the supports under the platform, this causes it to drop down.
