Comedy is better half of the Experience
We wanted to try out the interactive table at this restaurant and it was definitely something different and interesting (luckily it was working when we were there). Under the package, you get to order 6 items on a specific menu and at the time we went (July 22) this menu had pretty much 90% of their normal A la Carte. The overall quantity of the food was alright for us but we can see it can be too little for some others. The taste was decent, though we did feel like it arrived fairly fast and maybe was a little too "readily available" and cold. The package does not offer drinks so for us, a guava juice + a 'rising sun' juice later, the bill has £20 added on top (almost half of this was service charge). As we were about to leave for the comedy show down in the basement, we were approached by a waitress who asked to do a review on Google for a free drink each. The catch was that we have to give 5 stars and mentioned her name in the review. Sadly, she was not the person who has waited our table and later, when we checked the restaurant review, we couldn't help but feel like many of their recent ones were done under the mentioned condition. Restaurant experience aside, the comedy show in the evening was more enjoyable. It was in the basement, maximum capacity around 30-40 people, there's a small bar, restrooms and various seating arrangements - sofas, stools and benches. Our show started at 6pm and ended around 8 - 8:15pm with 2 interim 10 minutes breaks and 6 stand-up comedians altogether - 1 of which being the host (Simon Hall). The intimate setting allowed the comedians to interact with the crowd and also handle some funny heckles. Generally, it was an experience for us but it is unlikely that we would try this again or come back to the restaurant.

It was ok
Food at inamo was disappointing, I had been before years ago and I must say it's all gone down hill. The systems they use were all down so couldn't even play the games or use the interactive table. The food was bland, a 8 piece of sushi came as a very dry 4 piece nothing like photos online. One waitress even came out of the toilet whilst I waited to go in and didn't wash her hands. Disgusting do not want to think about what else must be going on in the restaurant. This didn't even include one drink so had to pay £30 for 2 drinks which was a rip off. The comedy was good however and redeemed the evening. The restaurant experience was a big disappointment however and we wouldn't go back to inamo after this experience.
