All the staff were very warm and welcoming and provided a beautiful Afternoon tea with views over Lake Windermere. We were very lucky to get such stunning weather. Thankyou all at Merewood Country House Hotel for making my birthday celebration extra special

Great Dog Friendly Hotel in an Amazing Location
We love staying at Merewood
All the staff are very courteous friendly and hard working. They really make you (and your dogs ) feel very special.
The breakfast at excellent and a great way to start your day.
This wasn't our first trip to Merewood and we are sure to return again.

Very good selection, well presented
Well presented afternoon tea selection, including mini fish and chips!
Good gluten free options as well, although the scone was a fruit one.
Selection of teas to accompany the food, but surprisingly no selection of coffees - missing something here.
Couldn't manage it all, which is the sign of a good tea.
