Got what it takes to dive with sharks? Visit Skegness Aquarium for a once-in-a-lifetime animal encounter with sharks, bat rays and more exotic sea creatures with a diving experience for two. After a safety briefing, equipment orientation and slipping into the diving equipment provided, including a full face mask designed to help natural breathing under water. While a professional instructor will be in contact with guidance and reassurance via the diver communication device throughout the time exploring in the aquarium’s purpose-built display. Home to a dazzling array of tropical fish and beautiful blacktip reef sharks, and other wild sea species. Marvel at their functional, streamlined bodies and their graceful glide through the ripples. - Availability Description
This voucher is valid for two people. Walk-ups are not accepted, please book this experience in advance. Lead times can vary based on peak times of the year, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Available to book Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, year round. The dive takes place at 9am and 3pm but guests have access to the aquarium all day. At the discretion of the Dive Team, more spaces may be made available to meet demand. All dates are subject to availability. - Participant Guidelines
This voucher includes entry for the participant and one non-participating spectator – those under 16 must be accompanied by a legal parent/guardian. There is a cost of £9 per spectator for any additional spectators. Minimum age: 10 years. Maximum weight: 18st 10lbs. - Duration
This experience lasts approximately two hours, with 40 minutes spent inside the Coral Ocean display. - Dress Code
Dive equipment and diving training is included. No previous diving experience is required, but confidence in water is essential. Please bring your own swimwear, towel and shower products. - Other Info
All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. There is a digital lesson which will be carried out via an online e-learning link and needs to be completed prior to arrival – details for this and other elements of the experience will be included in the confirmation e-mail. Please note, participants are required to fill out a medical declaration to confirm their fitness for the experience and sign a digital registration form. All participants will be videoed during the experience and will have the option to purchase a video link of the experience. Each participant needs to book separately.
