30 Minute Lorry and HGV Driving Experience with 6th Gear Experience for One

Taking charge of a Scania P410 Car Transporter, Scania R490 or DAF XF, this 30-minute HGV drive offers a measured look at the scale and control of lorry driving with 6th Gear Experience. The day includes a clear driver briefing, guidance from an HGV coach and a driver experience card or certificate to mark the session. It is an unusual, hands-on driving experience built around precision rather than outright speed.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum age: 12 years. Minimum height: 4'10". Not suitable for pregnant individuals. Participants with a condition that causes seizures must have been seizure-free for at least six months.

• Duration Detail

  Please allow up to two hours for the HGV experience and between 2–4 hours for the supercar experience.

  This voucher is valid for one person.

  This is an outdoor event; please dress accordingly.

  Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website. Some driving experience providers may ask participants to sign an indemnity or damage waiver form on the day of the experience. This means they may be asked to contribute towards the cost of any damage caused to the vehicle during their experience. Full details of the indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the experience provider. We’re unable to advise or comment on the content or suitability of the waiver. Most providers also offer an optional indemnity or damage waiver for an additional fee. This is separate from the public liability insurance held by all venues. Drivers with additional accessibility needs may have difficulty getting in and out of the lorry, which is up three ladder steps. Venue opening times are 8.30am–5pm. Selected supercars may be available as an alternative or upgrade option on the day, subject to availability, including Aston Martin, Audi and Ferrari models. Upgrade fees apply for selected vehicles. If a supercar add-on is purchased, the car driver briefing will take place after the HGV experience.
