Afternoon Tea disappointment
I received an afternoon tea vouch as a birthday gift, however, upon booking this I was charged an additional £10 because it was a Saturday. I then found that the sandwiches were rather bare - one of the finger sandwiches was a piece of cheese between the two pieces of bread, , no salad, no pickle, no anything else! So exceptionally plain. Another of the finger sandwiches had a piece of ham between the slices of bread, again, nothing else with it. I must admit, I would have expected a much better standard of food here, so was sorely disappointed- I would Not recommend here for afternoon tea.

Super afternoon- great gift
We enjoyed a very pleasurable afternoon in the beautiful, historic Peckforton castle. Afternoon tea was excellent, very tasty and a lively selection of cakes.
