Normally spa’s have jacuzzis, theirs has a fake tree in it with astro turf and it’s filled with concrete. No Jacuzzi which everyone i spoke to was disappointed about.
The steam room is nice.
Sauna looked nice, Didn’t try out.
The pool is pretty small if you do want to swim in it and if you are go for a relaxing day be aware that children staying at the hotel are allowed to use the pool.
The Spa lounge was cold in temperature and is heated by a small radiator in the corner and i wasn’t aware it existed until i went into the room to wait for my treatment.
The changing rooms aren’t maintained throughout the day. Peoples used towels and dressing gowns were left on a bench because of the small sign on your way out to return the items to reception-which is just inconvenient.
The toilets has sanitary products spilling out of the bins and toilet paper everywhere because they didn’t replenish the toilet paper units meaning that the toilet paper provided was hard to stop from spilling everywhere (square sheets). They also did not clean out the sanitary product bin.
Deep tissue full body massage and facial was amazing. The treatments were the best part of the day.
The afternoon tea was ok, i wouldn’t pay what they charge on the website for that.
The hotel itself is outdated and generally old looking with much of it wearing away.
The was a gift, if i had paid for the experience and spent my own money i would have been askign for a refund.
