About the experience
Get nose-to-nose with meerkats and lemurs at Northumberland College Zoo, where two 30-minute encounters take you right into the enclosures to help the keeper at feeding time. After a short introduction, you'll watch these inquisitive, endlessly sociable little characters bound and chatter around you, with a keeper on hand to answer every question. Afterwards you can explore the rest of the zoo for the remainder of the day, meeting the animals you haven't said hello to yet.
