A unique experience

Just because

Great hotel, room, food and service was first class. The golf course is in need of some TLC, greens and tees not the best but playable. Reflected in the £15 green fee for 18 holes if not part of the package but the back 9 is nothing more than a pitch and putt and the 10th tee being on the path around the lake plus the tee shot through a window in the trees is bizarre. Stick to the front 9 which is challenging and requires accuracy to avoid losing balls in the close by dense rough and woodlands. Also quite hilly. Very good facilities at the Country Club and lunch in the brasserie was excellent. All in all a very enjoyable weekend for my son and I bought for us by my gorgeous wife. Might have to repay the compliment with a spa trip ???????!
