My friend and I went on a Thursday for relaxing spa day. When we arrived we were told it was very busy and could we share a locker - not a problem at all. We were then informed that there was an aqua aerobics class on at 10.30 which we were not aware of. Whilst trying to relax beside the pool the loud music and shouting from the instructor wasn't very calming! Once finished it did quieten down and we were able to relax a while. The main pool temperature was very cold, so we didn't make use of that. The jacuzzi and steam room were lovely however. We then went for lunch in our robes. The actual restaurant was very cold, especially as you aren't wearing many clothes! We were sat near an exit door too and some inconsiderate other guests kept going out for a cigarette and leaving the door wide open. Lunch was however delicious, even though there only seemed to be one waiter dealing with everyone. Afterwards we both had back, neck and shoulder massages. These were very relaxing and the therapists were very good. However, once again the rooms felt very cool and we both would have appreciated a warmer room for our treatments. Once that was complete we returned to the main spa for some more relaxation. Overall it was a lovely day, but there were a few things which could have been improved. It should be made clear on the website when the aqua classes are, I believe they are held 2 mornings a week, we would have chose an alternative day had we know this class was going to be on. Likewise an increase in temperature in a few of the rooms around the spa would have made some of the experiences more comfortable.
