Worst afternoon tea
If you are going to offer afternoon tea, expect to need to offer a selection of hot drinks. I asked for a decaf tea, they don’t do it, asked for a decaf coffee, again, don’t do it. Had to opt for a hot chocolate. Then the food came out. The chicken skewer was barely warm and the cheese focaccia was soggy. The clotted cream was WARM and weirdly tasted of cheese. We complained to only be offered another clotted cream. Our scones were ruined, so had to say no to just cream. Another server came over to apologise and said there’s nothing much she could offer us as it was a voucher. I was given this as a get well present from a dear friend after having surgery. I’m so saddened that she wasted her money.

Afternoon tea Birmingham
We booked our tea at The BrassHouse which is right in the centre of Birmingham by the canal ,a lovely setting The service was excellent and the food excellent .There was a much better variety in the types of bread and filling than in most other teas .We did have the vegetarian option .
There were plenty of cake / dessert and a scone each
I would highly recommend

Lovely afternoon tea
Our afternoon tea at the Metropolitan in Didsbury was lovely and very enjoyable. The staff were attentive and gave great service.
I dont find the website when booking the experience particularly easy to navigate, so I think the overall experience could be improved by making it easier to find your local options.

Xmas gift
Lovely afternoon tea, relaxing surroundings. No rush. Our waitress was on hand but not obtrusive.
