Great gift

Really good value but was impossible to book thro the app. Had to go.direct to restaurant

A little disappointed

We were given this as a gift for our birthdays and were a little disappointed with our choice of manor of groves. The outside was mostly pretty but otherwise nothing like described. The spa / healthclub had the jacuzzi and sauna out of order which appeared to have been for a long time. The steam room was impossibly hot as there was no regulator on the steam in a very small room, you couldn't see nor sit down. The pool was full of kids playing which we weren't expecting. We went to the 'sun terrace' which was small and unkempt. We were told by a member of staff we couldn't bring glasses out there, she gave us a plastic cup each and told us to take our glasses away ourselves. The restaurant was expensive and the food wasn't nice. Tasted like microwave meals. We had a shared terrace outside our bedroom which was again unkempt and resembled a prison garden with high white walls some paving slabs and 2 patio chairs. We didn't even bother going down for breakfast as we were so put off from dinner

Absolutly lovely afternoon tea

The hotel abd staff were superb. The afternoon tea lovely to look at and even better to eat. The staff were so attentive and helpful, nothing was a problem fir them. Excellent cocktails too !
