Value for Money

This was great value if you compared to the prices on the a la carte menu. Steak with Blue Cheese sauce was very nice. A little close to neighbouring table and cocktails weren’t available as bar tender shift wasn’t due to start until 3pm, but minor detail.

Decent food - 3hours for 2course

Food was average but for a 2 course lunch (main and desert) took a very long time. There was no drinks menu given and we had to wait almost an hour to finally be served. Then wait almost another hour for the mains to arrive to find one of the steaks were overcooked. I finished my meal by the time my partner received dish. We both had to wait just over 15mins until we received our deserts. As there were no staff around in the garden area waiting if a guest need something straight away and only appeared when they had to clean up or carry a quick check if everything was ok - this was a rare occurrence. We had to wait a long time until a staff appeared to ask for the bill. This voucher was given as a gift and was very disappointed. We had hoped to have the purchased other drinks on top of the gift but service was extremely slow, so decided to get the main items which were part of the gift, and leave. Most of our day was taken up by this from 1.15 pm - to just after 4 pm we left. I wanted to raise this up when leaving but because everything was so slow we did not want to waste the day further.
