Greeted at entrance shown to a seat, she brought menu, took order all very professional, the sandwiches were lovely, scones a bit dry, cakes are lovely but after eating sandwiches and scones we got cakes boxed up, must say all of the staff are very nice

Lovely afternoon!
We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea. The food was imaginative, for example the mini fish and chips, which were delicious. It was all very tasty and beautifully presented on the unusual wooden stand. I particularly loved having 5 different cakes/desserts, which were all gorgeous! One small point, the scones were very good, but it would have been nice to have a choice of plain or fruit scones. The setting was very comfortable and attractive. Briery Wood is definitely recommended, though the Red Letter Days booking system was awful - which was no fault at all of Briery Wood.
