About the experience
Take on a new and enthralling perspective as the pilot of a Spitfire MK2A and a Messerschmitt BF109, both icons of WWII. This activity for two offers a pair of simulators that have been built to original specifications with complete sets of working controls. Try out each aircraft, appreciating the original flight characteristics from take-off to landing. Then link the two aircraft together and find each other in the skies to put new skills to the test and find out who is the better pilot. This voucher is valid for two people, one in the Spitfire and one in the Messerschmitt. The experience runs Monday to Friday (excluding Wednesday) between 10am–5pm and Saturday between 10am-6pm. All dates are subject to availability.
- Participant Guidelines
Minimum age: 12 years. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum weight is 22st0lb. Minimum height is 4'5". Please note that there is no disabled access. Previous flight experience is not required.
- Duration Detail
Expect to spend up to 90 minutes at the venue with 60 minutes each of flying time.
- Dress Code
Dress sensibly in comfortable clothes and soft-soled shoes.
