unfortunately the tank we booked wasn't available, a little disappointing as we weren't told before we arrived but something else was offered and my son had a great time

Ideal for older ‘young’ kids
Bought this experience for my 12 yr old grandson, safe to say he loved it, nice and easy parking and check in and the instructor was very good, friendly and clear with his tutoring, the vehicle is a great machine for the experience of driving, they did several loops of a course,
my only tiny criticism would be that maybe the course could have been a bit more ‘rougher’ but

Disappointing
I'd imagined this experience as driving at speed, blues and twos (lights and sirens) blaring, bit of manouevering etc.
What I got - driving on bumpy, rutted tracks and told to keep the speed down - probably never got above 15 mph. Did a U-turn, attempted reverse into a parking space and 2 attempts at a 5-cone slalom. All done in under 20 minutes. Could have been driving any generic large vehicle.
Can't fault the staff or organisation of the event, but can't recommend this as an experience.

Good experience, process & communication could be better
I was gifted the 4x4 off road experience. When I went to book it, I discovered that it was only available at one track (this is buried in the small print). However, the person who gifted this had taken time to call up and ask about tracks. The individual on the phone didn't know/communicate the 4x4 was only available at the Abingdon track, and not others around the country, so the gift was purchased thinking there were tracks closer to where we live.
If you have never been to a track day, expect to wait around for a while until your slot.
The experience in the vehicle itself was a lot of fun. Unfortunately they haven't set it up for you to have any photos or videos of your experience. This seems to be available for the other cars on the track.
