Tours operate on different days of the week at different venues, with some closure periods during winter months. Please check upon booking. - Participant Guidelines
As the experience involves alcohol, the minimum age is 18. Disabled visitors are welcome as most venues (although please be aware that all vineyards cover some uneven and uphill ground). - Duration
Expect to be at the vineyard for between two and three hours, depending on venue. - Numbers on the Day
Depending on which venue is visited, the tour group may include 30-40 participants. - Dress Code
Bear in mind that as some time is spent outside, do dress appropriately for the weather on the day with comfortable shoes. - Other Info

We really enjoyed ourselves at the Carr Taylor Vineyard. The Guides was very knowledgeable and gave us an interesting tour without being boring!! Who knew what went into making good wine! The wine tasting was a new experience and much enjoyed naturally we bought some bottles home. Cream tea was good too - friendly people to talk to.

A brilliant day. The tour of the vineyard was excellent and very informative. We were taught how to do a proper wine tasting and the wine was very good. An excellent lunch followed which rounded off a perfect day. Many thanks to Martin and his wife and daughter. Would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

A very enjoyable time at Carr Taylor Wines Vineyard.
The guide was very knowledge, interesting and humorous.
We were shown how to taste and enjoy a glass of wine, rather than just tipping it down your throat! Lunch was a delicious ploughman’s lunch.
Not the tidiest of places, but a true working distillery with character.

A real treat to visit this family fun vineyard and to be guided by the excellent Malcolm.
The sparkling wine (the Brits created champagne you know) is of the highest quality and is highly recommended. An intimate atmosphere prevails at this 'find' of a vineyard; I shall return. Thank you.

Group of 4 using our post lockdown gift vouchers. We were looked after by Roland, who gave a very informative tour of the vineyards, along with his light hearted stories. A lovely lunch provided with the tour and of course yummy wine tasting. Very enjoyable day.

This was supposed to be a tour with wine tasting, the tour was brief and only scratched the surface of wine production. The wine was not so much a tasting as look at the tablespoon of wine in the smallest glass they could find. To charge £5 for 2 very small glasses of wine,as a special offer from the cost of £4 a glass was too expensive Overall Very disappointed
