20 Minute Helicopter Tour of Margate and the Thanet Coast for One

A helicopter tour offers a fresh perspective on Kent’s coastline, pairing open-sky views with a memorable sense of scale. Departing from Rochester Airport in a Bell 206 Jet Ranger, the flight traces the Thanet Coast, where the British countryside gives way to beaches, colourful harbours and classic seaside landmarks. Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs come into view, followed by the striking white cliffs of Pegwell Bay, before returning to base.

  Available on selected weekend dates, March–September, once a month. All dates are subject to availability.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum age: 7 years. Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult. Disabled participants are welcome but if necessary must be accompanied by a friend who can help them in and out of the helicopter.

• Duration Detail

  Allow up to one hour for the full experience, including a 20-minute flight.

• Numbers On The Day

  This voucher is valid for one person. You will share the flight with up to three others, plus the pilot. One spectator can watch take-off and landing.

• Dress Code

  Please bear in mind that the helicopter can get quite warm and to dress accordingly. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
