About the experience
Cultivate an artistically arranged tropical terrarium with this group horticultural masterclass - it's perfect for budding gardeners. During this workshop, craft the tools necessary to make a stunning bottled-garden and learn about the intricacies of creating a self-contained biosphere. Layer a glass vessel with slate, charcoal and fertile soil before digging small holes to fit the plant's roots; then finish by adding bun moss. There are plenty of ways to decorate the terrarium: plants that work particularly well include small ferns, miniature peperomias and bromeliads. Notable for being low-maintenance, there's no need to worry about the miniature gardens' longevity. They make easy to care for decorations and thoughtful gifts for loved ones.
