Blissful Spa Day with 25 Minute Treatment and Cream Tea for Two at Bannatyne

Such a thoughtful gift, I was so excited when I opened my gift. I booked this with a friend, easy to book. Arrived at destination and parked up, beware if you have to pay for parking it’s expensive. Lovely building, gorgeous entry with all the plants and water. Lovely staff. However…. The gym had lots of rowers and exercise bikes etc but if you wanted to go on the weight machines there was one of each and they were occupied all the time. Swimming pool was quite small, not many loungers, advise to not forget a book or magazine as you can’t take your phone or kindle in there. If you wanted to do lengths there is not much room. When it comes to the treatment do not get the 25 minute one as it says 20 minutes when you book. Also you only get about 7 minutes. By the time they get you to go to the room (which I had to share) it had cut into my time. Then they leave the room for longer than needed so I cld get on the beauty couch. I booked a facial, none of the products were out ready, all I cld hear was the therapist wheels on her chair rolling across the floor, the product lids flipping open and shut and then the practise fire alarm went off once but she left the room to go and ask which the time was not made up on my treatment. Nothing was explained to me what she was going to do for example explain to me the order of the treatment i.e double cleanse, exfoliate then mask (I only knew what she was doing as I am a therapist myself and know how I carry out a facial and explain to my clients before the treatment what order the product will go on and also ask my clients before how much pressure they like the massage). Also, which is no fault of the spa, upon walking onwards my car I noticed a dent and number of scratches on my car, I am now struggling to get hold of who owns the cameras to get footage of my car being hit in the car park right outside the spa! I would like to add the treatment room was lovely with dim light and relaxing music, just ashame about the
