Dated & Dirty
Our treatment was lovely and staff were nice but the spa itself was very dated and unclean. There's also not enough seats/loungers for the amount of people using the spa facilities to sit & relax.
Please note this is a review for the Mecure Sheffield St Paul's Hotel and not against Red Letter Days themselves. The purchasing of the voucher and redeeming it was very easy.

The massage was beautiful wasn't aware we had to pay £5 extra for back massage . Afternoon tea wasn't included although stated when booked it was. Facility standard and the receptionist was rather rude and unaware of what was happening. Busy swimming pool

Disappointed
My friend and I attended the spa experience last week. The treatment I have to say was absolutely fabulous. Thank you ladies. However, we were both very disappointed in the facilities. There was no jacuzzi (an essential part of a spa day for me), nowhere in the pool, sauna/steam room area where we could get even a cold glass of water, we have to climb 2 flights of stairs to the reception area in our robes if we wanted a drink and even then, we had to request a token for the machine. The spa day experience was to allow us to use the facilities through to 6pm but with no snack bar, nowhere on the same floor to get either food or drink and no jacuzzi meant that we didn't feel able to spend the whole day there and left around 1pm. Certainly not the value for money we were expecting. Very disappointing indeed.
