Superb Afternoon Tea
From arriving at Wortley Hall and the glorious views in front of us it was an impressive start to a wonderful day. We were warmly met at reception and given a short history and guided tour of the hall and then shown to our table for the Afternoon Tea. The food was beautifully presented with a good selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls, blinis, scones and cakes. We had a plentiful supply of tea and coffee too.
The staff were very pleasant, helpful and friendly and made sure we had all we needed.
The grounds of Wortley Hall are beautiful too and well worth a wander around.
Overall I can't rate this experience highly enough and am looking forward to a return visit

Lovely afternoon tea.
We had a really nice afternoon tea at Wortley Hall.
The venue is amazing , a beautiful house set in wonderful gardens and amazing scenery.
The room we had our tea in was really elegant and the tables set to perfection with china crockery and decorated with a vase of very pretty flowers.
The young lady who served us was very polite and brought out our preferred tea and coffee very quickly.
Our afternoon tea consisted of a variety of sandwiches, sausage rolls and smoked salmon on mini crackers. A variety of cakes and scones with jam and cream to finish off were well received.
We couldn't eat everything so we were given boxes to bring some of the cakes home.
It was , altogether , a very enjoyable afternoon.
Definitely reccomend.

Great afternoon tea
Arrived a little early, but was seated quickly and offered drinks straight away. Then the tea was brought out not long after, plenty of choice and selection ( we struggled to eat it all and took at least half home to finish later). The gluten free option was just as good as the normal the only difference was I got crisps instead of a sausage roll.

Best ever
Booking was so easy . The afternoon tea was spot on , staff went out of there way , very attentive, so much food we asked for a box to put extras we couldn't eat in , surrounding area of wortley is glorious.
