I bought this experience for my husband for his birthday. It was interesting to try the different IPA's that Brewhouse & Kitchen offered.
The food however, was mediocre. I paid £63 for 6 beers (1/3 of a pint each) and two burgers via Red Letter Day. When we arrived I gave the voucher to the waitress who explained the different beers we would be having and that we could have any of the burgers on the menu (there are 6). After returning a few minutes later, she explained that the kitchen would only offer the basic burger and either of the chicken burgers. We wanted to try the Spicy Mac burger, which was only £1 more than the basic burger. The kitchen was reluctant to allow this. The only way that they would allow us to "upgrade" is if we paid an additional £3 to try the Spicy Mac burger. The main difference with the burger was a very small serving of mac and cheese. The portion was so small and we almost miss that it was in there. In our opinion the beef patty was of low quality. The Nashville Hot chicken burger was nice. We opted to have two Fruh beers, which naturally got added to the bill. In total, I paid £79.20 for the experience. However, if we had just gone along and requested the same food and IPA beer tasting, plus the 2 Fruh beers, without the voucher it would have cost £62.10.
I would recommend Red Letter Day as they make buying experiences like this very simple, but I would suggest doing a bit of research about the experience/product to be sure you know what you are buying.
