About the experience
Cameron Mackintosh presents a brand new production of Lionel Bart’s musical - Oliver!, reimagined with the esteemed director and choreographer Matthew Bourne at the Gielgud Theatre. The creative team includes designer Lez Brotherston, with lighting by Paule Constable and Ben Jacobs, sound design by Adam Fisher and video design by George Reeve. The original orchestrations have been cleverly adapted by Stephen Metcalfe and supervised by Graham Hurman. Oliver! follows a young orphan boy who is dismissed from the workhouse and ventures through the streets in search of his fortune. This production promises a theatrical experience and a story that has captivated audiences of all ages for generations.
