About the experience
Step into the underwater world with an introductory scuba experience in a Hampshire swimming pool. Begin with a safety briefing and expert tuition, then learn how to breathe through the regulator, achieve buoyancy and develop underwater mobility. Spend time getting comfortable with the scuba kit and practising these core techniques beneath the surface in controlled conditions, gaining a solid grounding in diving. Ideal if a PADI Open Water Diving Course is on your radar.

- Availability Description
Available on Saturdays at 4pm, February–November. Must be booked at least two weeks in advance. All dates are subject to availability.
- Participant Guidelines
Minimum age: 10 years. Participants must be in good health and comfortable in water. All participants are required to sign a medical declaration and disclaimer before taking part. If you suffer from asthma, diabetes, claustrophobia or any respiratory, heart or other medical conditions, advance written medical approval from your doctor is required.
- Duration Detail
Please allow around two hours for this experience, but this may vary depending on the standard of pupils. Around half an hour is spent in the pool.
- Numbers On The Day
This voucher is valid for two people. Spectators are not recommended, but they can usually be accommodated upon request – please ask when booking.
- Other Info
Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website. Maximum pupil to tutor ratio of eight to one. Bring a swimming costume, a towel and a T-shirt each to wear in the water as a cushion from the scuba apparatus, which can sometimes rub. All other equipment is provided, including tanks, masks and scuba gear. No previous experience is necessary; beginners are welcome.
