Seal Watching for Two in Oban, Scotland

Brace yourselves for a close encounter with grey and harbour/common seals on this interactive and informative wildlife tour of the Scottish coast and the Hebrides for two people. Set sail from Oban and visit a large seal colony. With the help of a dinghy, explore nearby unpolluted, white sand islands with stunning scenery, where on a clear day it's possible to see the Small Isles, Skye, Mull and the Outer Hebrides. • Availability Description

  This is a seasonal experience that runs between April and September.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum age is 8, accompanied by an adult. Participants need to be reasonably fit to undertake a full day at sea. As this involves boats with ladders, it's unsuitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility restrictions.

• Weather

  This experience can be cancelled in adverse weather conditions, please contact the venue before setting off if in doubt.

• Duration Detail

  Lasts for 7.5 - 8 hours with a break for lunch (a warm drink is provided after your swim but please bring along a packed lunch and water to drink).

• Numbers On The Day

  There are a maximum of 12 participants on the boat.

• Dress Code

  Life jackets are provided. Please wear sensible shoes and wrap up warm. A change of clothes is recommended. Binoculars and information guides are available onboard but don't forget your camera to capture those wildlife close-ups.
