About the experience
Experience stand up paddleboarding for two on the River Leam, combining expert guidance with scenic surroundings. Following a briefing, you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of balance, paddling and steering, building confidence on the water as you go. Finish with a gentle cruise along the river, taking in views of the Victorian park and the neighbouring nature reserve.

Available on approximately two weekend dates per month, March–October. All dates are subject to availability.
- Participant Guidelines
Minimum age: 14 years. Participants must be reasonably fit and confident in the water. Swimming ability is not necessary as buoyancy aids are worn at all times. A medical declaration must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian if under 18.
- Duration Detail
The session lasts two-and-a-half hours. Please arrive a few minutes before the start time and allow time afterwards to shower and change.
- Numbers On The Day
This voucher is valid for two people. Spectators are welcome.
- Dress Code
Please wear sports clothes that are fine to get wet and bring a towel, shower kit and a complete change of clothes. Either remove or firmly secure glasses; contact lenses may be worn.
- Other Info
Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website. Sessions go ahead in most conditions, but very rarely flood conditions may lead to postponement; the venue will contact you if this happens. There is a student to tutor ratio of eight to one and everyone has their own paddleboard. A buoyancy aid and waterproof top are provided. Facilities including a café are located in the park overlooking the river. The venue is a British Canoeing Quality Mark centre, licensed by the Adventure Activity Licensing Authority.
