SWB Motorsport Tank Passenger Ride

Take a seat inside an Alvis Spartan fast reconnaissance tank and experience travel in an armoured vehicle. Once on board, the driver guides the 8-tonne machine onto a dedicated off-road course, designed to make the most of its tracked ability. Across around 15 minutes of riding, feel the vehicle climb, drop and manoeuvre over uneven ground, giving a vivid sense of life inside a compact military carrier.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum age 12 and above 1.2 metres; those aged under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Max weight: 18 st.

• Duration Detail

  The passenger ride lasts around 15-20 minutes. Please allow up to one hour for the whole experience.

• Numbers On The Day

  This voucher is valid for one person.

• Dress Code

  Dress comfortably and wear trainers or flat-soled shoes.

  Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Briefings are held in groups. There may be another passenger sharing the tank, as well as the instructor. Unlimited numbers of spectators are welcome. Participants must be agile enough to climb up and into the vehicle. Not suitable for those with epilepsy, heart complaints or pregnant people. Please note that animals are not allowed at the site, with the exception of guide dogs.
