SWB Motorsport Tank Passenger Ride

Ever wondered what a ride in a tank feels like? Choose a 20-minute passenger run in Oxfordshire aboard a 15-tonne GKN Sankey FV432 armoured personnel carrier, complete with turret, machine gun and caterpillar treads, or head to Northamptonshire to join the crew of an 8-tonne Alvis Spartan for a 15-minute off-road ride as it climbs, dips and traverses uneven ground on a dedicated course.

• Availability Description

  Oxfordshire sessions are offered on selected weekdays and weekends; please contact the supplier for exact availability. Northamptonshire experiences run from Friday to Sunday between April and September. All dates are subject to availability.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum age 12 and above 1.2 metres; those aged under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Max weight: 18 st

• Duration Detail

  The passenger ride lasts around 15-20 minutes. Please allow up to one hour for the whole experience.

• Numbers On The Day

  This voucher is valid for one person.

• Dress Code

  Dress comfortably and wear trainers or flat-soled shoes.

• Other Info

  Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Briefings are held in groups. There may be another passenger sharing the tank, as well as the instructor. Unlimited numbers of spectators are welcome. Participants must be agile enough to climb up and into the vehicle. Not suitable for those with epilepsy, heart complaints or pregnant people. Please note that animals are not allowed at the site, with the exception of guide dogs.
