Two Day Weekend Pottery Course in Herefordshire for One

Set within the Eastnor Castle Estate in Herefordshire, this pottery course is a relaxed introduction to the art of throwing. With demonstrations to guide you, time at the wheel brings the chance to practise core techniques and experiment with shapes and forms. After letting your work rest overnight, you’ll return to refine your pieces with added details, then colour and decorate them with glazes and slips. Selected creations will be fired and delivered around one month later.

  Available on at least one weekend per month, year round. All dates are subject to availability.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum age: 18 years. Complete beginners are welcome, so no experience is necessary.

• Duration Detail

  This is a two-day experience. Each day runs 10am–4pm.

• Numbers On The Day

  This voucher is valid for one person. You'll share the workshop with up to eight other participants each day.

• Dress Code

  This experience can be messy: wear older clothes, and bring an apron and an old towel if possible.

  Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website. Accommodation and lunch are not included. Extra pots can be fired at an additional cost of £6 per 250g, payable on the day.
