The Spread Eagle Spa is a very well designed stylish addition to the hotel. The facilities are excellent, from the changing room with lockers, showers and toilet to the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. The poolside loungers are very comfortable. We enjoyed an excellent neck and back massage followed by some delicious Apricot tea in a lovely post treatment room with subdued lighting and extremely comfortable loungers.
Afternoon tea was served in the lounge bar area, it was ok, not exceptional, a couple of things (scones etc) tasted a tad dry. The service throughout the visit was excellent from the spa receptionist, the masseurs and the bar waiting staff. Would definitely give it another try.
