About the experience

Treat the kids to a memorable day out at Northumberland College Zoo. This experience offers the chance for a family of four to get up close and personal to the lemurs and meerkats, as well as exploring the park with general admission tickets. Upon arrival, receive a short introduction before heading into the meerkat enclosure for a 30-minute experience. Come face to face with these social creatures and observe their inquisitive personalities and their fun and friendly interactions with the rest of their family. Then it’s over to the lemurs for another fun-packed 30-minute experience. Learn all about these cute primates and even get the chance to feed them. It’s a fun experience for a family who love animals.

  • Availability Description

    This voucher is valid for two adults and two children. Available on Saturdays and Sundays, excluding 18th December-6th January. Entry to the zoo is available from February half term to October half term. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time. This experience should be booked in advance. All dates are subject to availability.

  • Participant Guidelines

    Minimum age: 5 years. Children aged 5–15 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Duration Detail

    This experience includes two 30-minute animal encounters, as well as admission to the zoo for the day. The experience runs at 10am or 3pm and last around one hour.

  • Other Info

    All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. Please note, you will not be able to handle the animals. This experiences includes entry to the enclosure to assist the keeper with feeding the animals.
