16 Mile Private Locomotive Driving for One

Make railway history your own with a chance to drive a Type 4 diesel locomotive for 16 miles along the Chinnor and Princes Risborough line. Following a welcome and safety briefing, you’ll take the controls and enjoy around two hours of private driving under the close guidance of an experienced instructor. With the engine running light, this session provides an authentic and memorable train driving adventure.

  All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. Location: Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway, Oxfordshire. Participants must be aged 16 or over. Those unable to climb from track level can board from the platform, though wheelchairs and walking aids cannot be taken into the cab.
