Four Mile Diesel Locomotive Driving Experience for One

Discover the power of a Type 4 diesel locomotive as you take control for four miles along the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway in this authentic railway adventure. After a full welcome and safety briefing, you’ll step into the cab and enjoy around 30 minutes of driving a light engine without carriages under the guidance of an expert instructor.

  Minimum age: 16 years. Participants must be in good health – if in doubt, consult your GP.

  Please allow around two hours for the full experience, with approximately 30 minutes at the controls.

  This voucher is valid for one person. You will be part of a small group of up to four participants.

  All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. Location: Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway, Oxfordshire. Participants must be aged 16 or over. Those unable to climb from track level can board from the platform, though wheelchairs and walking aids cannot be taken into the cab.
