Eight Mile Diesel Locomotive Driving Experience for One

Step into the driver’s cab of a Type 4 diesel locomotive and enjoy the chance to take control for eight miles along the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway. Following a welcome and safety briefing, you’ll spend around an hour at the controls with the support of a qualified train driving instructor. With the locomotive running light engine, this immersive session is shared with one other participant and lasts about two hours overall.

Those unable to climb from track level can board from the platform, though wheelchairs and walking aids cannot be taken into the cab.
